Terms of Service
Origo Studios (House of Origo)
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern your use of houseoforigo.com and set out the ground rules for working with us. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to them. If something here doesn’t sit right, talk to us before you proceed — clarity before creativity applies to contracts too.
1. About us
House of Origo (“Origo Studios”, “Origo”, “we”, “us”) is a creative and digital marketing studio based in Umargam, Gujarat, India, providing branding, design, digital marketing, and AI solutions. These terms apply to visitors of our website and, together with any signed proposal or agreement, to our clients.
2. Use of this website
You may browse this site and use its content for your own information. You agree not to:
Copy, scrape, or reproduce our content, designs, or code without written permission
Misuse forms or contact channels (spam, false enquiries, malicious submissions)
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or compromise the site or its infrastructure
Use the site for anything unlawful
3. Our content and intellectual property
Everything on this website — copy, design, visuals, layouts, brand assets, and the name House of Origo — belongs to us or our licensors. Viewing the site grants you no ownership or licence to any of it.
Project work shown in our portfolio remains the property of the respective clients or of Origo, as agreed per project, and is displayed for demonstration only.
4. Services and proposals
Descriptions of services on this website are indicative, not offers. Every engagement is defined by a written proposal or agreement covering scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees. Where these website terms and a signed agreement conflict, the signed agreement wins.
Process. Projects typically follow our five-stage pre-project process — Discovery, Definition, Direction, Architecture, and Alignment — before build begins. Timelines shared at enquiry stage are estimates until scope is locked.
Client responsibilities. Timely delivery of content, feedback, approvals, and access (accounts, platforms, brand assets) is essential. Delays on inputs shift timelines accordingly.
5. Payments
Fees, payment schedules, and milestones are set out in each proposal. Unless agreed otherwise:
Projects begin after the initial advance is received
Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice
Late payments may pause work and, where persistent, attract interest as permitted under Indian law
Third-party costs (ad spend, licences, stock assets, hosting, API usage) are billed separately unless included in the proposal
6. Deliverables and ownership of work
On full and final payment, ownership of final approved deliverables transfers to the client as defined in the proposal. Until then, all work remains the property of Origo.
We retain the right to:
Keep copies of the work for our records
Showcase the work in our portfolio and marketing, unless confidentiality is agreed in writing
Reuse our underlying tools, frameworks, code libraries, and know-how across projects
Working files, source code, and editable assets are included only where the proposal says so.
7. Third-party platforms and AI services
Much of our work involves third-party platforms — advertising networks, hosting providers, CMS and website builders, CRM tools, AI models, and APIs. We select and implement these with care, but:
Their availability, pricing, policies, and performance are outside our control
Results on advertising and marketing platforms depend on factors beyond any agency’s control; we do not guarantee specific rankings, reach, conversion rates, or revenue outcomes
AI-powered systems (chatbots, call assistants, automations) are configured to a defined scope; their outputs are probabilistic by nature and should be reviewed for critical use cases
8. Revisions and approvals
Each proposal defines the number of revision rounds included. Feedback consolidated per round keeps projects on schedule. Approval of a stage (in writing, including email or messaging) closes that stage; reopening approved work is treated as a change request and may affect cost and timeline.
9. Cancellations
Either party may end an engagement with written notice as per the proposal. On cancellation, work completed and costs committed up to the notice date are payable. Advances are non-refundable unless the proposal states otherwise.
10. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep non-public business information shared during a project confidential, and to use it only for the project. This survives the end of the engagement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Origo’s total liability arising from any project is limited to the fees actually paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — or for outcomes on third-party platforms.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Origo against claims arising from content, data, or instructions you supply — for example, materials that infringe third-party rights or breach applicable law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction. Before litigation, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith through direct discussion.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page with the date above. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
